… and now were here, January 2019.
Team Wiff has big things planned for 2019, and it’s here. Like right now. But it’s okay, we’ve already started on step 1 of the 2k19 plan.
Step 1 – Make money for boat projects
It started on New Year’s Eve with both of us hustling hard with our respective side jobs. And really, it hasn’t stopped since. The wedding bells and Christmas carols are long gone, and we need to get back to the grind.
Our New Year’s resolution is to get RumHaven back in shape (and ourselves). But we’re not talking a simple diet and gym plan. There are a few (expensive) things that need maintenance on the boat, but we’re determined to get her back in the mooring field rather quickly.
After all, as the temperatures cool (to a high of 75) and the season progresses, now is the time to unplug and enjoy Florida Winter!
Alright, So What’s Step 2?
Step 2 – Get the generator fixed and proper sized inverter installed. These are the two biggest things holding us back from the mooring field right now, amongst other smaller projects.
We’re on the schedule for a generator tech to come out mid-January. Let’s just pray he doesn’t immediately drain what funds we’ve hustled hard for already this year. Haha, hey, one can dream right?
Updates to follow!
